Florida Department of Education Educator Certification The purpose of Florida educator certification is to support the academic achievement of our students by assuring that our educators are professionally qualified for highly effective instruction. Florida educators must be certified to teach in our public schools and many private schools. Educators include classroom teachers, school administrators, and other support professionals, such as guidance counselors and media specialists. Certification Examinations 2023 Program Information Preparing for the Teacher Certification Tests

• Scores will be provided directly to your district/college only if requested at the time of registration.
• Passing scores are automatically submitted to the Department of Education's Bureau of Educator Certification.
• For further information about test scores and score reporting, visit the FTCE/FELE contractor website (www.fl.nesinc.com) or call FTCE/FELE Customer Service at (866) 613-3281 (toll-free) or (413) 2562893.

If you cannot access your score report via the FTCE/FELE contractor website or your score report contains incomplete or erroneous information, contact FTCE/FELE Customer Service.
